Tenant Rental Criteria

There are many benefits to renting a property instead of owning one, for one the moving in process can happen a lot quicker, and it’s far more flexible as there are all sorts of different contract lengths.

Before you can start to rent a property, we have a few criteria that you ideally need to meet, the first being that your income can support the monthly payments due for the property.

We require two different forms of ID to identify you, these can be in the form of

 

  • Valid passport
  • Driving license
  • ID card
  • Recent utility bill
  • Recent bank statement

Before renting, you will need to pass a credit check and we will require the following documents.

 

  • Proof of your employment and earnings, these can be documents such as a recent pay slip for the last 3-6 months
  • A letter from your employer which confirms your job title, contract length and salary.

If you work for a large company where it can be difficult to get a reference, we will just need your payslips instead.

Worried about your credit rating? We will try to help you if you get a bad credit reference.

We have an online application form which we will send to you. On this form you will also need to provide your National Insurance number.
